Soap Lake would not be what it is today without the influence of many past and present people. Recognizing all of them would be an unmanageable task, but we'll pick at least one representing each decade from 1919 to 2019. Maggie Waltho, our mayor from 1946 to 1950 is the first Memorable Person to be honored.
